Having your computer break down in the week before an assignment can be a pretty stressful experience, particularly if it held the only copy of your work. Thankfully, these sort of problems often have fairly straightforward solutions but if you're not familiar with computers it can be a headache trying to work out what to do. I have quite a number of years experience fixing these sort of problems for myself and family members, and will be happy to help you out with any problems you come across whether hardware or software related.
Repairs and Recover
If your computer won't boot anymore or your hard drive is no longer being recognised, I can help you get it up and going again. Although it's not my area of expertise, I also have some experience in data recovery so even if your essay seems to be gone for good it may be that I can get it back.
When I provide technical support, I give a quick analysis of the problem after which I will advise you of what's likely to be involved in getting it going and how long this might take.
What Makes Me Different
There are a lot of services available that offers technical support, but I feel I am able to offer something that many of them do not: good communication. I've spent a lot of time helping people who are not technically experienced and have become good at explaining what the problem is and what the options are in a way that's easy to understand.
What that means is I will clearly lay out what's happening, what I intend to do, and if there is more than one option I will explain what they are and the pros and cons of each. This will enable you to make an informed decision for yourself
Technical Advice
The other service I offer is providing technical advice. If you're planning on buying or upgrading your computer, or even planning on getting a new MP3 player or camera, it's well worth getting advice if you're not familiar with the options yourself, either from me or from someone else.
You can save a lot of money by knowing what to buy and where to buy from, as well as making sure you get something that meets your specific needs which is something that in-store salespeople will rarely take into account.
Pricing
The pricing below does not include travel costs if required. Before undertaking any work I will provide you with a quote as to what will be involved and an estimate of how long it will take. With all of these services, if I am unable to fix your problem then I will not charge you for the work - as always, I am committed to providing a quality service and will never charge for work that does not help you.
